"Nice restaurant. The ambience there was great. Got many food options and also an ice cream truck available in front of the restaurant. The food quite good but a little pricey. Never thought that iced latte would be rm16 hahah. And also its halal"

"We came to celebrate my husband’s birthday in January 2026. I had informed the staff earlier to play the birthday song when they sent the cake so I could capture the surprise moment. Unfortunately, the cake arrived without the song, and only after it was already on the table did the song start It kind of ruined the surprise. This isn’t our first time here we’ve been loyal customers since 2020. In the past, some staff needed better training as the service felt a bit cold, but the 2026 staff overall seem okay. Food portions used to be bigger, but now they’re getting smaller hahaha even the cake The cake tastes premium, just the size is funny. Food taste is okay, but during our previous visit, the mashed potato came cold and tasted sour (macam bangas ). Before that, we also had chicken wings that didn’t feel fresh, tasted odd and looked a bit hitam. Still, we will always support Hooga because the owner is very friendly and humble. We’ll keep visiting and recommending this place, but please don’t turn us down too many times"

"The atmosphere was comfortable and so many mixes of different elements in terms of it's esthetic. Furthermore, the meal and drinks that the Hooga Cafe was really good and fulfilling. Lastly, the back area was completed with children's playground, "photo booths" and a whole garden of aquaponics, and I love it! Would recommend giving it a visit."

"The best place to visit in Kundasang at night, especially with kids. We had planned to visit the Mesilou Strawberry Farm, but since Hooga Cafe has its own strawberry farm, we decided to cancel our planned. Besides dining here, were also able to buy fresh salad from the farm. Anyway, we had wonderful memories here."

"Dinner experience overall was fine! Went over during weekend, usually packed with customers. Was told to wait for 30mins for our foods to be served, but turned out we waited around 15mins! Just in time to feed our hungry stomachs! Lovely Christmas decorations as well!"

"This is my second time dining here. I would recommend it to those who don’t mind the price and are okay with average portion sizes. The portion is not too big and not too small - just nice. It won’t make you too full, but you won’t feel hungry either. However, for those with a big appetite, it’s not really recommended. The service is very good, and the staff are very friendly. I also recommend trying their cakes - super delicious! There is plenty of parking available outside and inside."

"After we check out from home stay, we went to this cafe to have our breakfast. This cafe does not only provide meals, but also has a lot of places for you and your family to enjoy, such as farm visit, souvenir shop, serfie garden and kids playground. Do note that you need to buy the ticket for farm visit. They have both indoors and outdoors seat. During our visit, there are not many customers, so our foods were serve quickly. A meal a bit pricey compare to other spot but the environment and decorations make up for it. The food taste ok but I hope the portion can be a bit bigger."
